The computer is a threat or a blessing?

Posted by admin

Is your computer a threat or a blessing?

The computer is a sign of the times. It is something invented to lift the minds of some of numbing collection, organization and processes of thought. It certainly has brought a big change in our lifestyles. Our lives are influenced by and get this technology.

The view that it is more of a threat than a blessing seems to be completely out of place in a world that has learned to enjoy and use computers. It’s ridiculous. The statement is typical of a person who mourn cry out for the “good old days’.

The problem with “good old days” is that despite that fill us with nostalgia, are not all “good”. For some reason, people who claim they do not see the pain they occupied. Before the invention of the computer, almost everything was slow. Data processing is slow, writing on typewriters was boring, and accounting is done manually, which was extremely slow and very tedious. It was the team that sped all these processes. In recent years, computers have become a very popular household item.

What is the advantage of being somewhat accelerated? It is a great blessing sometimes. If simple, but annoying, tasks such as data processing can be done faster than leave us free to do other more important tasks. It is not possible by virtue of how the computer can be a threat.

Perhaps the idea that the computer is a threat that stems from the problems it has caused in some areas. There are people who have lost their jobs because the team has made redundant. Frankly, this is a matter of seeing the ‘problem’. Is not the fact that the computer can replace a person a clear indication that the person must do something more important? Many companies where computers have replaced people not only reduce workers, but go through elaborate programmes to retrain workers. This is an improvement and the worker in question should see the phenomenon as a blessing, because it is the computer that was indirectly responsible for their improvement.

Another reason for looking at the computer as a threat is perhaps the fact that makes one lose his time playing him. This is a ridiculous allegation, as time may well be wasted watching stupid programs CT. Apart from that, play on the computer is at least interactive, unlike the habit of looking at the box Goggles. Beyond all this, playing computer games is an option that one chooses. There is no compulsion to waste time on this or any other form. It is not fair to label the computer a threat for this reason.

Therefore, to call the computer more of a threat than a blessing is grossly unfair. The computer is a great blessing indeed. Like everything else, if the computer is a blessing or a threat depends on how much is exercised their options.

Is more important to enjoy your work to gain a great deal of money?

An ancient Chinese proverb says: ‘Finding a job you enjoy doing and you will not have to work a day in your life. ” The meaning is that you will be so busy in enjoying their work that they do not consider work at all. Undoubtedly this is a realistic statement and we might add that a person who enjoys his work is likely to be happier and better than a person who sees the job as the monotony or worse as a necessary inconvenience.

Time and again it has been argued by philosophers that the purpose of life is to seek pleasure and avoid pain. With regard to that way, it is clear that human beings automatically to see which gives them pleasure. In that case, it must be true that we look for work rather we like, even though they may not pay very well, instead of choosing a job that pays less pleasant either. The argument here sounds simplistic: is it always possible? Can we find all jobs that are really nice?

One certainty is that money is also important. There can be little happiness to a person who does not have enough money. For a person to enjoy life that certainly needs money, and if the means of obtaining money is something unpleasant - like working in a morgue - or difficult - as work as a manual laborer, we can say that he should renounce their jobs and find a job that would enjoy? One difficulty that comes immediately to mind is that if we all just looking for jobs that are welcome, there is work that is not a pleasant and nobody wants to do. What will happen to the country - and the world - if everyone wants to be a musician and nobody wants to be a MORTICIAN or a coal miner? There certainly are jobs that can not enjoy doing.

A good suggestion might be that we must learn to enjoy what we are doing, instead of looking like what we do. This may not be as irrational as it sounds. It’s like saying that if you can not marry someone you love, then learn to love the person you marry.

There should be easy to learn to love a job that gives you a lot of money. One might think of all the pleasures could have and realize that it is the work that makes this possible and then see the top is really nice after all. Psychologists tell us that what gives us pleasure is a matter of scheduling. We have scheduled to hear a certain type of music, like certain foods and even people. If this is true it would be possible with the program we commit ourselves to enjoy our jobs - what they are. Therefore, if there is a well-paying job that we can not see what more pleasant, but which gives a great deal of money, we can see that the most enjoyable.

Therefore, we can say that, although enjoying a job is more important than making money, it would be wonderful if we have jobs and earn much money from him. Enjoying ourselves is a matter of attitude: We can find enjoyment anywhere if you look hard enough. But if given a clear option that we can have only one or the other, I would agree that enjoy a job is more important than money.

Population Growth

Posted by admin

A growing population means increasing pressure on critical resources, tightening environmental constraints and widespread poverty. The widening gap between rich and poor is creating extreme inequalities in access to and control over resources, including knowledge and opportunity.

Population is not the only deplete resources and a parameter of a country’s development. In counties where the factors contributing to population growth far outweigh the factors for development, the population is no longer a resort, but a burden on society. A population growth is a serious obstacle to development efforts.

A couple of centuries ago, large families were the fashion. Mothers wanted to bear as many children - mainly children - as possible. The reason was economic in nature. Many hands are needed to work on farms. The more we have hands, the most profitable exploitation. There was also another reason for the desirability of large families. The infant mortality rate was quite high and also, not many people live to ripe old ages as they do today. In many countries the highest life expectancy was less than thirty years.

At present, both the above reasons for large families have been eliminated. Modern medicine is assured, at least in the more developed countries, that the infant mortality rate is low. Fewer children die and most of them live to become adults. For the adults also life expectancy is high. With better living conditions and health, many men and women of today are living beyond six decades. All this simply means that the world’s population continues to grow rapidly while declining resources to follow all the time.

The incentives that are directly and indirectly relevant to parents who want to have or not have children are considered together with effective techniques to persuade parents to limit family size. It is essential to determine attitudes toward parents who have too many children and to find practical ways to change these attitudes in the direction of population control.

Scientists warn us repeatedly that there is a time of severe food shortages on the horizon. Food production is increasing very slowly compared with rapid population growth. It is feared that has come a time when it may not be enough food for the survival of the masses.

The question can be asked whether it would be possible to have more food production. Unfortunately, this frees another serious problem. To increase food production, farmland must be increased. This means the destruction of precious woods. This is an extreme sacrifice, and causing terrible damage as the greenhouse effect and El NiƱo affect it, since it is creating an enormous chaos to the world of time.

To avoid serious environmental problems, we must stop the destruction of nature. If we do not create more food, then market forces will cause food prices to rise - perhaps to really unrealistic heights. That would mean less food available to more and more people. This will trigger another round of health problems. Countries that have problems of food shortages will have to take all sorts of ways to feed people. This may include war and the return to the cave-dweller days of survival of the fittest.

Certainly all the problems that must be prevented from ever rising. In any country, rapid population growth represents an unreasonable burden on available resources. Obviously it would be almost impossible to solve them once they begin to make its impact felt. The most practical way to prevent problems seems to be growing population control. Hence, population control is essential for the survival of the human race.

War-never justified?

Posted by admin

Have you ever justified war?

For those of us who are horrified by the war, it’s easy to say at once that war is never justified and totally disagree with the issue. But a little reflection will lead us to conclude that there are at least a few cases where a country is justified in going to war. In other words, war can be only under certain circumstances.

Firstly, we see that countries often are forced to go to war to defend them. A defensive war certainly seems justified. Very often in history we see examples of countries that are threatened or attacked even more aggressive neighbors. In these cases is certainly justified to go to war. In 1991, Kuwait was attacked by Iraq. This was clearly an act of aggression and it is impossible to believe that the Iraqis had no justifiable reason. The Kuwaitis were forced to defend themselves because of the total-unaware of their armed forces had to rely on help from other countries. However, a more recent example is that the U.S. attacked Iraq, the only bases that the U.S. ‘presumed’ that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. After completely ruin the country and his regime, on the other hand pull the Iraqi ruler Saddam Hussein behind bars was an unjustifiable war. To this day, weapons of mass destruction, the reason for war, have not yet been found.

While it is easy to agree that self-defense is a justification for war, it is difficult to define at which stage a country should begin to defend itself. One example is the new Iraq-Kuwait war. Kuwait did little to defend themselves, even when war seemed imminent. Is it justified to attack first if he was sure he was going to be attacked? In this case, since Iraq had not attacked first, if it attacked Kuwait that have not been the aggressor? Despite Kuwait would have struggled for survival, his attack was justified? Here is difficult to decide. We are forced to conclude that a country is justified in defending itself when an attack is imminent, but the attack has not taken place.

The history recorded elsewhere justifications for going to war. In the Indo-Pak subcontinent history, India went to war to save the genocide of Bangladesh from Pakistan when attacked and systematically annihilate the population. In this case, the world supported the actions of India. Clearly, this is nothing more than a war. From this we may conclude that a country is justified in attacking another to those from a third country from being massacred. But when we talk about defending his country against an imminent attack in another, then a fairly recent example, when U.S. bombed Afghanistan after 9 / 11 attacks, a war that is justifiable? Bombed a barren land in search of a terrorist (Osama bin Laden) and the eradication of its tyrannical regime that is no matter of his people? To be justified?

Yet another reason to consider it in the case of a famine or other natural disasters. Suppose a situation where a country is facing severe famine and drought while a neighbouring country has plenty. In that case the country is faced with the disaster would be justified to attack and seize for themselves some of the abundance of its neighbour. It would not make any sense for a population to die out when it can save itself. In this case what it is not justified if the country is attacking a country that has barely enough for its own population.

We therefore see that although most of us abhor war, there are situations when war is justified and unjustified, solely depending on the circumstances.

Information technology

Information technology is a mixture of telecommunications and computers, which relates to the storage, processing, maintenance, dispatch and receipt of information that is something that people need for their development and welfare. It is information technology that has brought awareness of the value of information common to every man. Information is one of three basic elements beside the energy and matter that make up the artificial environment and, therefore, determine the importance of information for human life. Information is a key factor in ensuring the realization of socio-economic progress of society. The key issues are not simply the effects of automation of manual work due to the rapid evolution of information technology. But the key issues are new technologies that are responsible for bringing the continuous change in society to ensure the availability of information needed to enhance the profitability and productivity of industries and other sectors of the economy. Many economists agree that information technology has become the main prerequisite for social progress and economic development in almost every country in the world. Without efficient technology reliable and accurate information can not be guaranteed without the right to information and social progress and economic development becomes much more difficult.

Today, information has become the most important in developing economic status of a developing country and plays an important role in economic success. In a fast developing country like China and India, the availability of the newest and latest information on agriculture, science and technology and other fields must be assured in the fastest and simplest form. India is basically an agricultural country to agriculture in India methodology should incorporate latest and best industry practices worldwide. The new agricultural techniques must be purchased from abroad and must be implemented in India to achieve the objectives. Therefore, for the purchase and hiring of the latest technology the basic element is needed is information. Not only in agriculture but in almost all fields of important information, since each development process depends on the availability of the right kind of information to the right place and right time.

Role of information: hence the main roles played by information technology are as follows: –

1. The country’s economic progress

2. Raising awareness

3. Automation workflow

4. Increasing the level of exports plus imports

5. Development of resources more effectively

6. Better use of existing resources

7. Improve the living conditions of people
